The tour over the Trela pass is amongst the most beautiful in the Livigno region. After the ascent to the Eira pass along one of 3 possible routes a beautiful trail leads along the right-hand side of the valley around Trepalle. After crossing the main road you will reach the trail over the Trela pass that was specially built for bikers for the 2005 World Championships. One metre wide and level, with a few steep climbs before the summit of the path - this path offers a perfect ride. Especially the descent to the refreshment stop at Malga Trela is a pure delight. After a further descent through the rocky Val Pettini you will roll along beside Lago Fraele before cycling back along the gravel road over the Alpisella pass.
